SPANLET / Privacy

Privacy notice

Your birthday stays on your device. Spanlet does not collect personal data from the app or track you.

About this notice

This notice describes the current Spanlet iOS app and its widgets. Spanlet displays elapsed time against a scale you choose. It does not predict life expectancy or process health data.

Information stored on your device

If you set up life progress, the app saves your birthday (year, month, and day), chosen life scale, display style, and color theme. These settings are used to calculate and display your progress. Year progress works without a birthday.

The app stores these settings in a local file. Its widgets read the same settings through Apple's App Groups shared storage on your device. This is local sharing between the app and its widgets, not sharing with other users or an online service.

No accounts, tracking, or app servers

The current app has no account system, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or developer-operated server. It does not send your birthday or progress to us. It does not request access to your contacts, location, photos, or health data, and it does not send push notifications.

The app writes basic operational and error messages to the iOS system log. It does not intentionally log birthdays or personal progress, and it does not upload these logs to us. Apple's own diagnostics and sharing options are controlled by your device settings and Apple's policies.

Device backups

Spanlet does not provide its own cloud synchronization. Your device settings may allow iOS to include local app data in iCloud or computer backups. Those backups are managed by you and Apple, outside the app. Erasing data in Spanlet does not remove copies from existing system backups.

Changing and deleting your information

You can change your birthday, scale, and appearance in the app's settings. To delete the active profile on this device, choose “Erase local data and start over” and confirm. This removes the saved profile and asks iOS to refresh the widgets. iOS controls when those widgets refresh.

The app keeps the active profile until you change or erase it. If a stored file is damaged, the app preserves it and shows a recovery message instead of silently overwriting it. You can use the recovery screen's erase action to remove it. We cannot remotely access or delete files on your device.

This website and external links

This product website does not ask for your birthday. Public website pages use Umami analytics hosted at umami.xingkaixin.me to measure visits and page usage. Embedded privacy pages do not load this analytics script. Choosing a language navigates to that language's page. Any product previews use example data.

Loading this website, including an embedded privacy page, makes a normal web request. The hosting provider may process connection information such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time to deliver and secure the site. This is separate from the offline iOS app. App Store, TestFlight, and email links, where available, open external services governed by their own privacy policies.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page and its date when the app's data practices change. If we add a feature that collects or transmits information, we will describe it here before that feature is released.
